DAY 12 . COVID

He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
Psalm 91:4-6

Throughout Scripture, we find numerous instances of God supernaturally healing people of disease. We are presented with the incredible truth that Jesus has conquered not only sickness, but even death itself, and we are given the wild promise that through the power of the Holy Spirit, we will be joined with him even in the resurrection of our bodies.

Amidst a global pandemic, our world is collectively reminded of the reality and tragedy of death, highlighting all humanity’s need for a sovereign God who offers restoration of both body and soul, abundant and everlasting life.

Pray for healing – whether through natural or supernatural means – for the many who have contracted COVID-19.
Pray for those who grieve loved ones lost to the virus.
Pray that many people turn to God and find spiritual salvation.
Pray for wisdom for leaders, truth and clarity in public communication, and scientific breakthrough in fighting the coronavirus.

Pray for the medical community who are sacrificially pouring themselves out to serve and protect.
Pray that in place of fear, selfishness, or despair, our response to the pandemic, empowered by the Holy Spirit, would be supernatural peace, joy, and love for our neighbor.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!”
Psalm 91:1-2
