Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. – Hebrew 12:1-2a

We believe that God desires, by the power of his Holy Spirit, to do a new and transforming work in our hearts. We believe that he desires to break strongholds and bondage, to liberate minds and hearts, that his purposes and anointing would flow through us, that a deeper level of authenticity and manifestation of his kingdom would be evident in our church and ministry.

May God open the eyes of our hearts, that we see his vision for what he desires us to do through us in this unique moment – not for a future time, but for now – and that we would humble ourselves to that vision.

We pray for those being called into ministry, some of whom have unusual paths or processes to their calling, that we will be faithful to pursue what he has called us to. We pray especially for those in 3 areas, whom we feel God is specifically calling during this time:

  • For those called to marketplace ministry, for divine strategy.
  • For those called to prophetic ministry, for the tenacity to engage the spiritual power we have in Christ.
  • For those called to speak boldly to systems and powers, to confront evil, for courage to do so.

God, we thank you that you are giving us a great peace about your calls on our lives in this moment. May we be faithful. Amen

Set aside 10 minutes to thank God for the ways he is speaking to our church, and to pray that we would be faithful to respond. What is God calling you to in this moment?
